Introduction to Stereotype

Born in a small lane off the west end of Edinburgh's world famous Princes Street, Stereotype has grown to be one of Scotland's leading club brands. Having just celebrated our 5th Birthday on January 26th, we have been throwing parties at various venues across Edinburgh including The Liquid Rooms, Cabaret Voltaire, Ego and our monthly home, Berlin.

With too many people quick to pigeon hole clubs, music and style, the name is a somewhat tongue and cheek slap in the face at all those people who base their night out around anything other than good times and good music. Started out by HUGGY (formerly of Burger Queen / Blast fame) and later aided by Paul Cunningham, the club has attracted some of the biggest names in House music to showcase their talents in Scotland's capital city.

On the last Saturday of every month, Stereotype returns to it's nest at Berlin but sister night "Motel" can also be found on a bi-monthly basis at Edinburgh's biggest club/live music venue, The Liquid Rooms. Here we have showcased some of the biggest names in the industry and would like to thank all of the following guests who have made each night so memorable over the years...
